A Musical Discovery at the National Opera House

  • Workshop

Discover the wonderful world of music in an interactive workshop with Aileen and Pete!

Learn about how sound is made and how we can make different types of sounds not only with our voices but with instruments too. We’ll explore pitch (high to low sound), rhythm and dynamics (loud to quiet sounds) through singing and playing together.

No prior experience of music necessary – just an open mind!

These workshops are aimed at pre-school children (18 months up to 5 years) and require one accompanying adult per child. Please advise of any special needs at time of booking.

Each session will be approximately 35 minutes long and there will be three timeslots to choose from. Musical instruments are supplied. Advance booking is required.

For more information please contact the National Opera House on 053-9122144.

Presented by the National Opera House Education & Community Programme.
