A New Beat

A New Beat will provide a learning experience in bodhrán, contemporary dance, and movement for young people aged 12-18.

Through a series of workshops delivered by professional musician Robbie Walsh and choreographer Roisin Whelan, participants will enjoy the playful experience of combining both artforms, which will culminate in a showcase performance on the stage in the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre’s Piper’s Garden on Saturday 10 June.

The workshops will take place on Saturday afternoons from 6 May to 10 June. A call-out for participants has been put on the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre website.
