‘Around the Campfire’ is an interactive storytelling event lead by storyteller, writer and performer Victoria Lee in The Glens Centre auditorium in collaboration with Rabbits Riot Theatre company.
Come and sit around the campfire and share stories with Tori. Be encouraged to get involved and tell your own stories using shadow play and drama techniques.
Victoria will share a story that children can then interpret and engage with. Children will be invited to be part of the stories told by becoming the various characters and making sounds through their bodies or through instruments. Elements of shadow play will make up the backdrop and be part of the experience.
Victoria is an experienced Youth Theatre facilitator, teaching weekly classes in The Glens Centre for many years in both interactive story sessions and drama workshops.
This is a great opportunity to come and try out youth theatre in your local area !
