Become a Marine Broadcaster

Want to be a Cruinniú na nÓg Marine Broadcaster? If you’re between 6-18 years old, Galway Atlantaquaria and the National Parks and Wildlife Service want to see your Marine Videos!

All you have to do is record a short video about a marine topic, such as an animal or plant from the seashore and send them to before 5pm on 10th June .Videos should be no longer than 2mins and your videos will be uploaded onto a Marine Broadcaster playlist on the Galway Atlantaquaria You Tube channel with a selection to be showcased as part of Cruinniú na nÓg on the 13th of June.

To help you make your broadcast we have uploaded some of our favourite video clips and images on Information about lots of seashore animals and plants will be posted on the National Parks and Wildlife Services Notice Nature Facebook page over the coming week to help get you started

How to Enter

  • Submissions open on Tuesday, 26th May 2020 at 9pm
  • Submissions close on Saturday, 13th June at 1pm
  • Videos should be no more than 2 minutes in length, and should be recorded in landscape format.
