Celtic Folklore and Irish Nature Illustration Workshop 2pm

  • Workshop

Discover the beauty of Irish nature and its connection to Celtic folklore in Rossmore Park.

Irish nature and folklore are intrinsically linked, and both play a key role in the stories we learn as children. This workshop will delve into that connection through the medium of illustration.

Illustration is a wonderful tool that can be used as a form of both expression and learning. Led by visual artist Grace Haynes, the young participants will create art in response to stories and information.

The artwork created will be displayed online in a digital booklet following Cruinniú na nÓg 2022.

Recommended for children aged 5-8. All materials provided. This event is free, but booking is required. Please wear suitable clothing.

Participants are to meet at the coffee dock area in Rossmore Park at 1.50pm as workshop commences at 2pm sharp.
