Character Development workshop with Marta Boniakowska

  • Workshop

Join Marta on an adventure to learn how to create amazing characters by using basic shapes!

In this workshop you will learn how basic shapes such as circles, triangles and squares are used when creating a character. We will look at some examples of famous characters from movies and games and see what shape is applied to them, learning the reasoning behind the shape theory.

Why is a circle used on this character? What does the triangle shape suggest? Don’t worry, all of these questions and more will be answered!

During this workshop you will also get a chance to see how Marta tackles character design, she will do a small demonstration on her tablet and draw a character using a shape you suggest – so that you can do the same at home!

This interactive workshop will be a great opportunity to learn some drawing and character design tips that will help children express themselves through art.

This event will be live and accessible via a Zoom link sent to all participants who’ve booked via this Eventbrite link.
