Circus Explored with Galway Community Circus

  • Workshop

Learn to juggle!

Have you ever wondered how you could acquire some superhuman, extra-ordinary skills?

Or perhaps you lie in bed at night dreaming of patterns and counting numbers back and forth in multiple ways.

Or maybe you have thought about how you could build and run your very own circus?

If so, then this project most definitely is for you! Circus Explored is a project which sets out to make circus skills possible for everyone, no matter where you are from, or who you are.

The Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) will be teaching you how to juggle with four tailored online tutorials presented by youth artists from Circus Factory Cork, Cloughjordan Circus Club, Dublin Circus Project and Galway Community Circus.

You will learn juggling all the way up to the three ball cascade, as well as table juggling and partner juggling. Prepare to be challenged! Over 5,000 beautiful juggling balls are currently being distributed all across Ireland.

Sign up on the ISACS website and get down to your local library to pick up your very own set.

Youth Circus employs circus arts as a method for engaging participants in developing their personal, social, physical and creative skills through a non-formal educational setting. We aim for every county in Ireland to grow their own Youth Circus and build communities which will benefit.
