Have you ever wanted to learn about coding but don’t know where to start? To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg 2020, we’re bringing Coder Dojo to you! In this activity, you’ll learn about how computers are put together and the basics of binary code.
You’ll learn about the insides of a computer, identifying all of the parts, what their purpose is and how they work together to allow us to watch YouTube videos, play games, send messages, etc. As well as a presentation, there’ll be a practical activity to create a binary bracelet and show off your nerd skills. This activity requires no prior programming experience and is open for all.
The event is a partnership initiative between Waterford Council and Coder Dojo (Dunmore East).
This event will be available at 2.30 pm on the 10th of June on the Creative Waterford Facebook page, please follow the link below.
