Corrib Youth Diversion Project

  • Workshop

This youth-led project will incorporate workshops using creative writing, photography and mood boards with a local artist. 

The project will facilitate creative engagement and seek to elevate the voice of the child in the visual art. A similar project took place last year where young people created a mural displayed in the Westside library. This project is for young people aged 13 and over linked with the Corrib Youth Diversion Project, Big Brother Big Sister Project, Youth Work Ireland Currach Bui and West Galway Family Services.

The workshops will culminate in the creation of a Grafitti Mural in the local Westside area exhibited on 15 June.
