Create a Creature Pot!

Enjoy this fascinating pottery workshop where each child will learn to make a pinch/thumb pot and develop it into their chosen creature or monster. 

Children will learn some basic sculpting techniques working with pottery clay and will be encouraged to use their creativity and imagination to make a unique functional bowl. The pots will need a couple of weeks to go through the glazing and firing process in Anita’s kiln before going on display in Navan Library. 

After the exhibition, participants may take home their pieces to keep. Suitable for children aged 7-11 years. 

Booking essential as places are limited. As this is a messy event, we recommend either bringing an apron/overall or wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Please note: This is a public event and a photographer will be present for part of the session. If you would prefer not to have you or your child’s photograph taken, please make the photographer aware of this.
