Movie Maker workshops – 13th June – 11.30am

How creative are you? In celebration of Cruinniu na nÓg, Createschool is running a series of competitions based on the work of John Tyndall . Every Saturday we will be running an online workshop in Digital media  At the end of the course you will be asked to create your own version based on the theme ‘The sky is blue’, and upload it to us. The most creative entries will be celebrated on Createschool’s Youtube channel and receive a voucher for The Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow. Have you ever watched your favorite movie and asked, how did they do that? the answer is that it is often very simple and that by applying some basic principles to your movies you will be able to make great films using just your mobile phone. Join us and we’ll show you how! Createschool in conjunction with Carlow Arts Office presents a series of creative media projects running for young people in Co Carlow focusing on creating work inspired by the teachings and discoveries of John Tyndall who was born in Carlow 200 years ago.
This course will run on Saturday13 June . It will be facilitated online by the Createschool team and will guide students to learn new skills, be inspired to create their own media based on the works of John Tyndall and to have them showcased by Carlow Co Co as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.

Workshops will be available online until 20th June 2020 but registration is required.
