Createschool Podcasting Workshop

  • Workshop

Podcast online workshop – – 6th June – 11.30am

How creative are you? In celebration of Cruinniu na nÓg, Createschool is running a series of competitions based on the work of John Tyndall . At the end of the course you will be asked to create your own version based on the theme ‘The sky is blue’, and upload it to us. The most creative entries will be celebrated on Createschool’s Youtube channel and receive a voucher for The Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow.

Podcasts are becoming increasingly popular but what are they and how do you make them? We are a team of experienced and passionate educators, who will help participants collaborate with one another to research, create, produce, edit and ultimately share their stories. We use everyday technology and equipment you probably already have so that you can be making your own podcasts in no time.

This workshop will run on Saturdays 6th June. It will be facilitated online by the Createschool team and will guide students to learn new skills and be inspired to create their own media. Createschool in conjunction with Carlow Arts Office presents a series of creative media projects running for young people in Co Carlow focusing on creating work inspired by the teachings and discoveries of John Tyndall who was born in Carlow 200 years ago.

Workshops will be available online until 20th June 2020 but registration is required.
