Creative Art Workshop with Shona Shirley Macdonald

  • Workshop

Make your own fantastical crown with illustrator and author Shona Shirley Macdonald in a fun, creative workshop.

In the ancient folk tale Cluasa Capaill ar an Rí (The King with the Horses’ Ears), the character Labhraí Loingseach has an impressive set of fluffy horse ears complete with a fancy crown.

What sort of animal ears would you have if you could choose? And what kind of crown or fantastical headpiece? Snail eyes, goat horns, ravens’ wings, alien tentacles – the choice is yours!

In this workshop you will be guided through the process of creating your own crown with animal ears, blending reality with your imagination to make your own unique headpiece.

Suitable for ages 6–9.

The workshop is free but places are limited so booking is essential. Book now by contacting 058 21141 or
