Millennium Park in Blanchardstown Dublin 15 is the venue for an exciting Cruinniú na nÓg festival of creativity for children and young people in Fingal for on Saturday 10 June.
The programme includes:
Graffiti Art Workshop with Street Art Ink – for ages 12+ and young adults
Lego Workshops with Brickz4Kids – for ages 7+
Bringing a line for a walk! An interactive family-friendly art and music workshop led by illustrator Niamh Sharkey and violinist Megan Churcher – for children ages 6+
Interactive circus performance and street entertainment from Fanzini productions for all the family, including stilt walkers, a hula hoop dancer, an interactive comedy circus strongman, a mini-biker, and a juggler.
Baby Bop Orchestra, a series of interactive and lively classical music concerts for early years children and their families. Violinists Megan and Natalia, clarinettist Margot, tubist Adam and flautist Ciara have a musical programme of classical waltzes, Finnish tangos, and familiar Disney tunes for everyone to dance along to in a playful and friendly first introduction to brass, woodwind, and strings.
Flip Flap Friends. Team up with authors and illustrators Niamh Sharkey and Mary Murphy to create your own foldy, flappy, flippy friend – for ages 7-10
