This pre-Cruinniú programme includes four fascinating online workshops for dlr primary schools broadcast live via YouTube.
Wednesday, June 9th at 10.30am for age 5+
Make a simple superhero flyer! You will download, print, and colour (or simply design) your own superhero!
Wednesday, June 9th at 12pm for age 7+
Everyone juggles things every day—school, home, work, friends, and family. In this workshop, we will strip all that away and just do simple juggling… with our hands! Learn to juggle up to three balls and perhaps even move on to household objects.
Thursday, June 10th at 11am for age 6+
In this ecological experiment, we will combine learning about waste and recycling with making a sculpture you can design and hang. We will use plastic bottles (known as P.E.T.) for the project. It is estimated that 56 million tons of P.E.T. are produced every year!
Friday, June 11th at 11am for age 7+
In this fun and engaging activity, students will make and fly a variety of paper airplanes. These will include a basic paper airplane, dart, raven, and the incredible Hoop Glider.
Bookings for these workshops are open to dlr Primary Schools. To register your class and to find out what materials you will need on the day, email email@example.com.
