Creative Youth Advisory Group

Galway City Council is to establish a Creative Youth Advisory Group to ensure a meaningful youth voice in Cruinniú na nÓg and Creative Youth programmes, and a vital forum for young people that can be sustained for years to come.

Working with strategic partners Youth Work Ireland Galway, in conjunction with Galway City’s Healthy Ireland Coordinator, NTE Advisor and LCYP Coordinator, Galway City Council will work to establish an inclusive Youth Advisory Group (YAG) that represents the diversity of young people in Galway City.  Facilitated and supported by an experienced youth worker, the YAG will meet monthly from November 2024 to June 2025, to shape Galway City’s Creative Youth Programme, take part in ‘taster’ workshops, presentations, and connect with other youth arts organisations and groups across the country.
