Carlow County Museum, Create School and Bishop Foley National School are teaming up for this year’s Curious Carlow podcast project which will be launched on June 15th in Carlow County Museum.
The staff of Carlow County Museum and Create School will work directly with the 5th class pupils Bishop Foley NS in the weeks leading up to Cruinniú, both in the classroom and the Museum to learn, research, script, write, record and edit a series of podcasts about Carlow’s history.
The podcasts will have an intergenerational focus and pupils will interview their grandparents about life in Carlow in yesteryear.
Carlow County Museum is a full-time professional museum located in Carlow Town and admission is free. Createschool has been delivering workshops for almost 20 years, encouraging students to unleash their creativity through animation, podcasting and moviemaking. Bishop Foley NS has welcomed pupils for many decades.
