As part of Dance Ireland’s Pop Up Dance Project, Dublin Youth Dance Company will have workshops and perform a new work created by the dancers and guided by Anderson Souza of Unanimous.
DYDC will collaborate with Holy Family National School Monkstown, offering two weeks of dance workshops with three workshops per week.
Dance has long been recognised as therapeutic, rewarding and beneficial to health and well-being. It can help to ease the tension, fear and stress that our young people may be feeling in these uncertain times. And it’s fun!
These dance workshops will emphasise the joy of movement and rhythm, along with the celebration of dancing together.
Dublin Youth Dance Company will perform at Moran Park, dlr LexIcon in Dún Laoghaire on 11 June at 12.30pm and 2pm.
The company will also hold three workshops at Moran Park on the same day for children.
