Digital Game Design Through Analogue Play with Games Designer Richard Naughton.

  • Workshop

Using non-digital devices such as packs of playing cards, sets of Jenga, dice, poker chips, and chess pieces, this workshop encourages participants to explore digital game design without the need for coding or other technical skills. With the mission of ‘Saving Wexford’s Environmental Future’ in mind, the workshop will foster creative thinking to investigate the possibilities and limitations of a game that challenges players with this task, examining it from various perspectives. Through teamwork and individual exercises, participants will design their very own game by the end of the workshop.

Age group: 12-18. Time: 10:30 am – 1:00 pm.

In partnership with Imirt – the representative body of game developers and creators from all disciplines throughout Ireland.
