Discover Static Electricity

  • Workshop

Static electricity is a fascinating phenomenon. It makes your hair stand up when you pull a polyester jumper over your head, it is the reason why you see sparks when you unfold some blankets and it can even cause you to feel a spark when you touch metal.

Find out more with Calmast, WIT’s STEM Engagement Centre.

***We are asking people leave their hair without any hair spray or gel for the electrostatic workshop***
