Dún Laoghaire Young Writers

Young Writers of Dún Laoghaire are invited to join writers Martin Keaveney and Mahon McCann (MKCW) for an amazing, high quality introduction to creative writing!

Over a series of Wednesday evenings, young people aged 13 – 18 explore getting started in creative writing, editing, sharing work and getting work published in magazines and with high street publishers. We also try out different genres such as science fiction, crime, horror and the medium of poetry.

The project will run from 7pm – 8pm weekly from Wednesday 1 May to Wednesday 12 June (if spaces are available you can join later too).

We will invite family, friends and general audiences to attend a public presentation of creative writing from the next generation on Saturday 15 June, 12pm – 2pm.  (Note public readings are optional for participants)

Venue: Mounttown Community Facility, Fitzgerald Park, Mountashton, Dublin.
