Everyone a Translator!

Can you speak Gobbledigook? Can you read a story with no words? Can you translate from a language you don’t speak? And can you write a book that can be understood by everybody in the whole wide world?

You may not know this yet, but the answer is yes!

With writer and translator Juliette Saumande, explore code-breaking, wordless books and emojis, and discover your own super translating powers!

A series of 5 online workshops every Saturday, starting Saturday May 16th, running every Saturday until June 13th

These workshops will become live on Meath’s Cruinniú na nÓg YouTube Channel each Saturday from the 16th of May until the series ends.

Juliette Saumande is a writer and translator of children’s books with over 40 titles to her name published in her native French and in English. Juliette is also the current Reviews Editor for Inis magazine, a Children’s Books Ireland’s publication. She is a Book Doctor, giving tailored book recommendations to children and families attending CBI’s book clinic.  

Her most recent title in English is My Little Album of Dublin (illustrated by Tarsila Krüse, published by The O’Brien Press).
