Explore, Create, Connect: A Helium Arts Drop-In Taster Workshop – 11am to 4pm

  • Workshop

Step into the colourful world of Helium Arts!

Join us as we celebrate the launch of our free creative workshops, for children and young people living with lifelong health conditions in Dublin. Bring your family and friends and be a part of our open studio taster workshop. See for yourself how we use creativity to connect with others, make friends, learn new things, and boost confidence. Surrounded by an inspiring display of artworks, created by our young participants from Cork, Limerick, and Galway, you can immerse yourself in some of their favourite activities

Led by our talented professional artists Peggie McKeon and Laura Cruz de Toledo, you’re guaranteed to have fun. Helium Arts is a children’s charity committed to improving the well-being of children and young people living with lifelong physical health conditions.

We offer free creative workshops in communities, hospitals, and online, providing inclusive environments where children facing health challenges can connect. In these spaces, they build friendships and draw inspiration from creativity, fostering confidence and resilience. Our aim is to equip them with the tools needed to tackle adversity together.

All of our workshops are facilitated by professional and friendly artists and supported by helpful volunteers. Medical support is available at the workshops (if needed).

Bring your family and friends and be a part of our open studio taster workshop – All are welcome to this free drop-in event; booking is not required.
