Exquisite Corpse Puppet Workshop

Children aged 8-12 are invited to create fantastical characters and imagine other ways of living in the world. What would it be like to have octopus arms, the body of a slug or four eyes like a spider?

Working with visual artist Siobhan McGibbon, the participants will create weird and wonderful characters by playing the game Exquisite Corpse. Each person draws on a sheet of paper, then folds it to hide their drawing, and then passes it to the next person who then does another part of the drawing. Using drawings, collages and found objects, we will turn the drawings into puppets.
