Fire Water Earth Air is an interactive audio piece designed for children and their adult(s). It is a sensory, poetic exploration through sound, music and play through the four elements: fire, water, earth and air.
Age Range: 4-8
To participate, we recommend you gather the following items:
- a candle and something to light it with;
- a bowl or jug of water and something to dry it with;
- a container with soil and compost, and a seed to plant in it; and,
- a small piece of paper
You can follow the instructions or just listen/watch, it’s up to you.
Fire Water Earth Air is designed particularly for autistic children, who may enjoy the opportunity to follow the audio at their own pace. They can choose a volume setting that suits them and will have the autonomy to choose how much they interact with the sensory elements.
