Forest Art Film with Loreto Primary School

  • Workshop

Take some time to enjoy our film, which showcases what the students from Loreto Primary School were up to with Forest School Ireland this past spring.

This project is a creative and immersive forest experience that took place in the woods of St. Enda’s Park and a ‘wild’ area within the grounds of Loreto Primary School, Rathfarnham over two days. It was led by experienced Forest School leader Ciara Hinksman.

The philosophy of Forest Schools is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age through positive experiences in the outdoors. By participating in engaging and achievable activities in a woodland environment, each child has an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their intrinsic motivational, emotional, and social skills. Through self-awareness, these skills can be developed so that each child reaches their personal potential.

We hope you enjoy our film! It can be viewed on the Cruinniú South Dublin YouTube Channel from June 12th.
