Performer and music teacher Ruth Smith will offer drumming workshops for the young people of the Ukrainian community in Esker Monastery. These workshops will allow the children to explore their creativity through music in a fun and active way.
Ruth, who is a music teacher with the Drumadore Drum School, has worked in arts outreach and engagement on many projects and in a variety of disciplines. Ruth’s recent work includes volunteering in Palestine’s community centre gym Aclaí Palestine and at the Lajee Centre in Aida Refugee Camp Bethlehem.
