Go Fly Your Kite
Go Fly Your Kite are facilitating kite design workshops that open to children of all age groups.
There are two sessions in the morning at 11am and in the afternoon at 2pm for two hours each, allowing children to drop-in and try to build their own flyer.
Go Fly Your Kite will provide all the proper materials for building the kites, including flexible fibreglass rods, 30 metres of string, and handles and kite tails. The tutors will instruct children on how to assemble their kite and be advised on kite safety while background music is played to help instil confidence in individuals and promote social interaction and artistic skills.
Each individual child can choose their own coloured blank kite and then chose artwork to trace with coloured indelible ink or design their own artwork and let their imagination run wild. Then comes the exciting part happens children are taken to fly their kites!
