Discover the captivating tales collected by the diligent pupils of 5th and 6th classes from across Westport, who embarked on a special project to interview their beloved grandparents. These beautiful stories ranging from the funny to the sad are a great snapshot of lives lived, proving that even the most seemingly ordinary stories hold extraordinary treasures.
We invite you to the Westport Library, where these compelling stories will be on display for the week commencing June 15th, 2024.
At the launch event, expect to be moved as the pupils take center stage, sharing excerpts from their own scripts and reflecting on the profound lessons learned from connecting with their grandparents. Through live and prerecorded videos, immerse yourself in the laughter, wisdom, and nostalgia as the pupils recount funny incidents and insights gained about days gone by.
