Hands On History!

  • Workshop

Join Scéal Heritage Consultancy to design and decorate your own sword and shield, and learn about late medieval Ireland through the amazing story of Granuaile, the Mayo pirate queen!

Advance booking through the library venues is essential for this free workshop, as participant places are limited. 

This workshop is suitable from children aged 5 – 12 years, and younger children must be accompanied by a guardian.

Workshop will take place at the following venue on Saturday 15th June:

  • Ballyhaunis Library, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo – 11.00 – 12.00
