Hey, What’s Going On?!? Small Activists – Big Messages

  • Workshop

An inclusive day of children and young people doing, making and creating!

It’s a summer of elections yet when it comes to democracy, children often don’t get included. Why not?

The Linenhall is celebrating the voice of children and young adults through creativity by turning Castlebar into a space that speaks back!

Get ready to see the world as young people see it!  Slogan t-shirts, craftivism, banners, badge making, new worlds with Dunegons & Dragons and a protest song – sing along combine to create a memorable day of art at the heart of Mayo.

Small Activists – Big Messages.

Small acts can make a big difference. We invite you to explore the world of craftivism with artist Laura Angell.
Let’s make a powerful message about something you care about. Join us for tips and tricks on how to communicate ideas visually and create short eye-catching text. We will introduce you to Self drying clay, a highly versatile modeling material – loved by DIY crafters and professional users of all ages.
Get hands on to make your message and sneak it into our gallery!

No prior experience is needed.
All materials provided.
