Instrument exploration workshop – One day music workshop and trad music session for young musicians

  • Workshop

A one-day music workshop for young traditional musicians covering the following:

  • Introduction to and a demonstration of a variety of instruments including fiddle, concertina, tin whistle, uillean pipes, mandolin, accordion etc. 
  • Exploration of traditional music rhythms, demonstrations and audience participation involved. For all age groups. 
  • Work shop for fiddle, tin whistle, concertina and accordion, mandolin, banjo, flute etc. Students learn a few tunes and advancement in technique. Depending on ability of student. 
  • Followed by beginner session and improver session
