Introduction to Geology, Seabirds and Bird Count at Cliffs of Moher

Hosted via Zoom, this introduction to geology, seabirds, and bird count at the Cliffs of Moher is suitable for young people aged 9 and up.

Cormac McGinley will introduce the geology of the cliffs explaining the rock formation, its evolution, and the types of wildlife that can be found on and around the cliffs. 

In addition, the workshop will look at the various species of seabirds found at the cliffs and explain how counts are conducted on colonies to keep track of the seabird populations that live there.
