In 2013, the Living Arts Project was established as an artist-in-residence scheme in primary schools, supporting the existing partnership between the Arts Department of Wexford County Council and Wexford Arts Centre. The aim of this project is to provide children with an understanding and appreciation of contemporary visual art. All residencies culminate in an exhibition from participating schools. This year, the exhibition has moved online and you can explore the beautiful work created by the pupils at the link below.
To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg 2020, we invite you to explore the online resources and activities funded through Creative Ireland that are available on this website and introduce young people to contemporary art. They include quizzes and interactive resources that will inspire children to create their own works of art.
The Living Arts Project is a partnership initiative between the Arts Department of Wexford County Council,Wexford Arts Centre and the Arts Council.
This event will be available all day on Saturday 13th June, to find out more please follow the link below.
