Young artists in Mayo are currently participating in a series of online visual art workshops with artist Alice Dixon.
On the 13th of June, the day of Cruinniú na nÓg, an online exhibition will be launched to highlight the work being created by these young people who are aged between 4 and 17, and of all abilities.
What has shone through this process is the collaborative nature of visual art, and that it can be a medium that creates a very special shared experience, even when taking place through an online platform. With visual art being so subjective and personal, there are no differences, just art.
