Workshop

Ukrainian artist Alla Shmuhovska will provide a unique exhibition for Cruinniú na nÓg of 19th and 20th century French, American and Irish hats. This will run during Longford Library opening hours of 10 am to 2 pm on June 15th.

This unique exhibition will form the inspiration for a series of workshops which will introduce children to methods of making hats, bonnets, and headpieces. The children will produce a “Mad Hat” of their own, and also learn about this section of the fashion industry and its history.

Workshop dates: Wed 19th, Thurs 20th, Fri 21th & Sat 22nd of June.
Times: 11:00 am to 13:30 pm each day.
Venue: Longford Library
