Make an Origami Paper Gift Bag presented by Gorey School of Art

  • Workshop

Ian Carter will show you how to make your own paper gift bag from scratch using very basic materials. Two A4 sheets of paper and scissors is all that’s required. Participants can develop their packaging further with designs and decoration using basic household materials. Adult supervision required.

Origami techniques and very simple geometry will be used to construct the paper bag. Materials like tea bags and coffee can be used to decorate as well as potatoes and paint for simple prints.

Materials required:  A4 paper, scissors, pencil, ruler and stick glue. Decorating the bag can be done as an option. Materials for this would include anything from paint to tea bags, glue and coffee.
