Making Waves – Sensory Movement Workshop

  • Workshop

Embark on a nautical-themed sensory adventure! The workshop is designed to accommodate children and young people aged 8-14yrs with varying degrees of learning disabilities, including moderate, severe, or profound general learning disabilities. It invites participants and their guardians to explore movement and music in an inclusive environment.

Dive into the depths of creativity with a sensory-friendly movement and music journey inspired by Jess Rowell’s dance theatre production MAKING WAVES! This workshop promises an immersive experience.

From discovering hidden treasures to gliding alongside friendly fish, participants will engage in interactive activities tailored to their unique abilities. Led by experienced facilitators, this 40-minute session fosters exploration through movement, rhythm, and sensory props. Capacity is limited to 8 participants per workshop, accompanied by 1 guardian each.
