How do you view the world around you? How has it changed with Covid? What are the positive things you’ve learned over the last year?
In this creative art workshop led by Colm Mac Athlaoich, you’ll explore the theme of memory through your own personal experiences and create an abstract artwork. This will be a painting or drawing inspired by your reflections and personal research imagery or photos.
The workshop is a pre-recorded programme connected to Colm’s current exhibition, “Percept”. It will begin with a short introduction, an overview of Colm’s practice, and details about his interest in memory and perception as artistic subjects. Colm works in paint, print, design, and collage and will give you a great insight to a wide selection of mediums. Participants will also be encouraged to engage with Colm’s exhibition, taking place in Luan Gallery through June 2021.
The workshop will be published on the Luan Gallery website and social channels on June 12th. Further details can be found here.
