A Midsummer Daydream
South Tipperary Arts Centre will offer a day of creativity to children and teens based on the stories and characters of Shakespeare’s classic play A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The Arts Centre will be transformed into the woodland bower of Queen Titania and visitors will have a wide range of activities to participate in, ranging from LEGO-building and mask-making, to a wide variety of fairy- and woodland-themed arts and crafts activities suitable for a variety of ages.
There will be face-painters, storytellers, and a shadow-puppet show, and the day will finish with a grand finale performance by the participants, followed by a disco.
There will be two special sessions, one for babies and toddlers (10am-11am), and the second for families with children who have sensory issues (11am-12.15pm).
