Local artist Barbara Derrane will host a Mosaic Workshop on Inis Mór as part of the programme of events for Cruinniú na nÓg 2024.
The workshop is aimed at children aged 8-12 years old and will be largely delivered through Irish with some English used as necessary.
This workshop will introduce children to the art of mosaic. They will be able to choose from many different themes and materials, inclusion coloured glass tiles, marbles, beads etc. All necessary materials will be provided. This workshop will encourage children to explore new mediums and stimulate their imagination.
