A TikTok-esque Portrait Workshop for Crinniú na nÓg, June 13th
Limerick and Clare Local Creative Youth Partnership (LCYP) is currently developing a programme, based on TikTok-esque portrait creation, with young people across Limerick and Clare. Actor, performance facilitator and ETB Tutor, Frances Healy is leading out on a series of workshops to support young people in creating micro sized videos depicting an aspect of their lives. A portrait might feature the young person on their own, in dialogue with someone else or it might feature a family member. All that is required in order to participate is a camera phone. On June 13th, for Crinniú na nÓg, the LCYP is running an online workshop for young people who would like to create their own Moving Portrait. Voice coaching, editing, dialogue and copyright are some of the areas to be covered. The workshop will run from 2pm to 4pm on June 13th.
Young people who are interested in participating can follow LCYP social media on facebook.com/LimClareETBYouthWork or on the @LimClareETB_CYP Twitter handle to find out how to register for the workshop. Further information from firstname.lastname@example.org or call 086 – 4120440.
The Local Creative Youth Partnership was established by Limerick & Clare Education & Training board in 2019, under the auspices of Creative Ireland.
