Want to learn about theatre? Want to make your own art? Or do you just want to make some new friends? Come along to the Wolfe Tone Community Centre just off the Vevay Road, for a free theatre taster workshop!
The Mr. Sands Youth Theatre team will lead you through drama games, ensemble-building exercises, and a little improv! Not only that—anyone who joins us will also get to see two short films we devised and shot last year: Riley and Midlands Murderers!
Anyone between the ages of 12 and 17 is welcome to join us for one of our two 90-minute sessions. All you need to bring is yourself and a bit of creativity! Please note: spaces are limited and booking is recommended.
Session 1: 10am to 11:30am
Session 2: 12:30pm to 2pm
Bray’s local youth theatre, Mr. Sands is a proud affiliate of Youth Theatre Ireland, and is supported by the Mermaid Arts Centre, the Arts Council, and Wicklow Arts Office. Since 2017 we’ve made plays, short films, radio plays, and even a podcast! We’ve travelled all over, from Belfast to Newbridge, Kilkenny, and even Albania on various escapades, and we’ve got even more exciting plans for the future.
