‘My Flag, My Culture’ is going to take place at the recently reopened Ballaghaderreen Library for Criunniú na nÓg 2024. The branch will be hosting a full day’s programme of activities, including
Arts & Crafts activities with Tuesday Whitfield and Lucy Kelly Desmond
Storytime and jewellery-making with library staff
Prize giving for competitions among local schools on the theme of ‘My Flag, My Culture’
Music provided by local schools and musical groups, reflecting the theme of cultural diversity in the local area.
Refreshments provided, a promotional marquee, and the Mobile Library service will be present on the day.
