Play & Create

  • Performance

Step into a world of creativity and exploration at Navan Library, where a selection of STEM and craft activities will be taking place for Cruinniú na nÓg.

This is an open-ended play session with games and activities focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematical thinking! Toys available include Magformers, Lego, Giant Chess and more!

We will have a selection of activities suited to creators of all ages.

Older children can try out our badge making machine to design and create a personalised badge while younger artists can experiment with Playmais, a tactile, non-toxic crafting material that can be used to make 2D pictures and 3D models.

And with Father’s Day just around the corner, we’re also offering a special opportunity to children of all ages to make handmade cards for Dad!

Our library is more than books; it’s a community space where imagination comes to life. So, gather your creative spirit and join us for this free session of exploration and creation.

Suitable for children aged 4 – 10 years.

This is a drop-in event. Pre-registration is not required.

Please note: This is a public event and a photographer will be present for part of the session. Attendees will be asked to sign in and grant consent for photographs to be taken. If you would prefer not to have you or your child’s photograph taken, please make the photographer aware of this.
