PLAYING UP is game played by adults and kids together!
Players are presented with a pack of cards; each card raises a question that is important to live art, references a specific piece of live art, and gives an instruction that is inspired by that piece.
To "play up" basically means to select a card, read it out loud and follow the instruction.
PLAYING UP was launched in April 2016 with a hugely successful three-day public "play-in" in the Turbine Hall of Tate Modern. For Cruinniú na nÓg, Create and the LAB Gallery are hosting a public "play-in" at Liberty Park. Bring the family along to this unique event to experience live art from a child’s point of view.
All are welcome to drop by between 2pm - 5pm.
