Pocket Art – Mobile Photography Workshops For Teens

Learn how to take stunning photographs using your smart phone! 

Facilitated by Monaghan based Visual  Artist and Photographer, John Nutley, you will explore your personal photography preferences, gain a general understanding of your mobile phone camera and have the opportunity to capture compelling photographs of Monaghan Town. 

Workshops will run over six weeks. In order to get the most from the project, participants should attend all six sessions. Workshop dates as follows: 

  • Saturday, 4th May 2024
  • Saturday, 11th May 2024 
  • Saturday, 18th May 2024 
  • Saturday, 25th May 2024 
  • Saturday, 1st June 2024 
  • Cruinniú Day, Saturday, 15th June 2024 (Public exhibition of photographs taken by group members from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

Please note that mobile phones are not provided. Participants should bring their own mobile phones to the workshops.
