Welcome to Rhyme Island, a youth rap initiative powered by GMCBeats and the Kabin Studio, in collaboration with Creative Ireland and Cruinniú na nÓg 2024.

Our mission is to empower young people across the island of Ireland to voice their thoughts, dreams and stories through the dynamic mediums of rap, songwriting, and video.

Come ‘Rock the Block’ in Knocknaheeny at this epic full day festival of youth music-making, workshops, sessions, performances, food and more! ‘Rock the Block’ will run from 11am – 6pm at the Kabin Studio and surrounds. 

‘Rock the Block’ is a youth-led celebration of music, self-expression, pride of place and community focus firmly located in the heart of Knocknaheeny. From workshops, to seisúins, from performances to discussion, Rock the Block is an event with the voice of the youth shouting loud and proud at the centre of it! 

Join us in embracing the power of rap and immerse yourself in the Rhyme Island experience. Remember, rap is for everyone! Let’s amplify our voices and make some noise together!
