On June 10th, 2023 join Rhyme Island, GMCBeats, The Kabin Studio, and Music Generation Cork City, in partnership with Cork City Council, for a big day out of music, rap and creativity at Elizabeth Fort.
From 10am Rock the Block will be showcasing some amazing young hip hop artists and rappers from across Ireland. There will be some mighty performances from the Kabin Studio & GMCBeats with their artists Misneach, MC Tiny, Jamie the King, Luke & Ellen, and many more, as well as collaborations with Music Generation Cork City, Creative Tradition, Music Mash Up, Foróige Linkpoint Knocknaheeny, Mahon Youth Development Project UBU, The Hut Youth Project CDYS, Mahon Community Pop Academy, Mahon Community Concert Band, and Cork Academy of Music.
Get ready for the live debut of “Music Gives Me a Reason,” a brand new collaborative song and music video set to be released in June 2023 – this tune is sure to be the sound of your summer!
There will also be a packed programme of youth music workshops, including rap & beats and songwriting. More exciting details will be announced soon, so mark your calendars and prepare to Rock the Block at Elizabeth Fort!
