In a series of workshops, students from Gallen Community School and Tullamore College will learn the magic of storytelling through character design.
Artist and Illustrator Marta Boniakowska will teach students the theory of character design that is used in the animation industry and how they can apply it to their own designs. The sessions will explore shape, colour, and body language theories.
Once they have finalised their designs, the students will sculpt their characters from clay. These imaginative creations will be displayed for all to enjoy in Ferbane and Tullamore libraries on Cruinniú day.
